Sunshine for Humbodlt is a non-profit civic association dedicated to the people and places that make our county a good place to live, and to the betterment of our communities.
Here is an example of what one Humboldt citizen thinks of the rural lifestyle here:
Rural Living
We're with Charles Ciancio of Cutten, a Caifornia Registered Professional Forester and the author of the book, “Rest in Peace, Rural America.”
Rural America is made up of hardworking, honest, patriotic and traditional folks. They aren't better than city folks. They're simply part of what is good in this country.
Rural America--and the entire United States--depend on the use of natural resources through milling, manufacturing, farming, fishing, recreation and ranching activities.
Instead of pushing to restrict this use, as some wish to do, why not increase the proper, full and wise use of natural resources here in Humboldt County and across rural America' Why not let rural folks give us and the world much, much more.
I thank the Almighty for rural folks.
